Ashok Goel
   Vice Chairman and Managing Director

Mr. Ashok Kumar Goel has been associated with the Company as a Director since 1984 and is a Vice- Chairman & Managing Director. Mr. Goel holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is an experienced businessman who also oversees the management of the Essel Group 's three existing leisure properties; viz., EsselWorld, Water Kingdom and Fun Kingdom.

He has led the turnaround of an engineering tools company in the Essel Group and achieved manufacturing efficiencies. Mr. Goel also serves on the Boards of Pan India Paryatan Ltd., ASC Enterprises Ltd., Intrex India Ltd., Solid Containers Ltd., Essel Overseas Ltd., Essel International Ltd., Rankay Investment & Trading Co. Pvt. Ltd., Pan India Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. and Orbit Cyber Tech Pvt. Ltd.

He is the President and Founder Member of the Indian Association of Amusement Parks & Industries and the Vice-President of the Organisation of Plastic Processors of India. He is currently also a member of the Investors ' Grievance Committee of the Company’s Board of Directors.

 
R. Chandrasekhar
   President, Europe, Americas, Medical Devices & Specialty Packaging

R. Chandrasekhar, President of Medical Devices & Specialty Packaging is a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and Cost & Works Accountant with a rich experience of over 26 years. He is responsible for the Medical Devices and Specialty Packaging Materials business verticals. Chandrasekhar has successfully managed diverse portfolios and functions such as Production, Marketing, Audit, Finance, Projects, Strategy and Corporate Planning and Organization Restructuring. He joined Essel Propack in 1994 as the General Manager – Finance and moved on to head the Marketing division in India in 1997. He was subsequently designated as the Director of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management & Information Technology in December 1999 and was responsible for operations in India and Nepal. In December 2000, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer after the successful merger of Essel Packaging and Propack. In December 2003, he took over as the Chief Operating Officer of the Company. As part of the Executive Committee, Mr. Chandrasekhar is actively involved with various strategic decisions concerning operations of the organization and has played a key role in various successful mergers and acquisitions involving the Company.

 
M. R. Ramasamy
   President, AMESA, EAP, Director, Technology & New Projects

M. R. Ramasamy is responsible for major technological change initiatives and includes internal outsourcing of common services, unification of manufacturing sites for certain products so as to bring about cost competitiveness. Prior to his current role Mr. Ramasamy has held various positions across divisions within the firm including those of Director - Manufacturing & Technology (Global), Chief Technology Officer, Director - Corporate Affairs, and Sr. Vice President - Operations and Supply Chain. Mr. Ramasamy has been with Essel Propack for over 20 years and has an engineering degree in Chemical and Plastics, and an Executive MBA from Lansbridge University, Canada. In addition to this, he is also a regular faculty for manufacturing excellence and Six Sigma implementation methodologies at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. 

 
Mrinal Kanti Banerjee
   Director, Creativity & Innovation

M. K. Banerjee, a qualified Electrical Engineer with over 29 years of experience, has been with Essel Propack for the last 23 years. He started his career as a Production Manager at M/S Guardian Plasticoat Ltd. after which he joined Essel Propack in 1985 as Assistant Manager, Customer Service. At Essel Propack, his experience spans across various stages of tube manufacturing and includes blown film, extrusion lamination, slitting, printing, production planning and control.

As Director of Creativity & Innovation, M. K. Banerjee’s job entails, conceptualizing, designing and developing new products, processes and applications. Besides interacting with customers and vendors for new product development he also engages himself in facilitating fundamental research projects on sustainability and biodegradability.

 
Zoeb Adenwala
   Chief Information Officer

As the Chief Information Officer (Global), Zoeb Adenwala is responsible for all IT systems across countries where Essel Propack has established its operations. He plays a key role in the implementation of common ERP, namely SAP, within the company on a global level. Zoeb has acquired a Masters in Technology (Computer Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and has nearly three decades of experience working on Information Technology solutions for companies such as Pidilite, EDS, SKF Bearings and TCS. Besides this, he contributes regularly to various IT magazines/periodicals in India and is also a Founder Member of CIO Klub, which is a non-profit organization consisting of over 100+ CIO’s , where he provides mentorship and guidance to CIO community. 

 
A. V. Ganapathy
   Chief Financial Officer

A. V. Ganapathy has been with Essel Propack as the Chief Financial Officer – Global, since June 2007. Ganapathy is a qualified ACA, AICWA and ACS. Prior to joining Essel Propack, he worked with the Uniliver Group as Commercial Director of Finance, Supply Chain and IT, and was responsible for handling the Sri Lankan operations. He has worked with the Unilever Group for over 20 years across operations in India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka.

 
Vinay Mokashi
   Financial Controller

Vinay Mokashi has been with Essel Propack since the last ten years and in current role he undertakes responsibilities as the Financial Controller - Global. Earlier he has functioned as the Regional Financial Controller in China and India. Vinay, a Commerce graduate is a qualified Cost Accountant (AICWA) and Company Secretary (ACS). Prior to joining Essel Propack, he has worked in various Accounting Finance and Commercial functions across the petrochemical and toothpaste manufacturing industries, for more than 15 years.

 
P. V. Ravi Shankar
   Head, Quality & Processes

Ravi heads the Quality & Processes division at Essel Propack and has been with the Company since 2006. Ravi has a MBA to his credit with specialization in Marketing, and has previously worked for companies such as Carbone Lorraine, Cooper Bussmann and Alstom. In his role as Head – Quality & Processes, he is in charge of implementing and improving quality management systems and processes across Essel Propack’s global units and alignment with global customer requirements. His efforts are directed towards standardising, implementing harmonized manufacturing polices and implementing new initiatives including safety and customer engagement programmes.

 
Shyam Kumar
   Head, Purchase & Logistics

Shyam Kumar has been the head for the Global Purchase & Logistics division since he joined the Company in October 2006. Shyam is responsible for managing and controlling direct and indirect spends of the Company across 13 countries. Shyam holds a graduate degree in engineering and has specialised in Polymer Science & Technology from the University of Mysore. He is certified Lead Quality Assessor in TS16949 / QS 9000. He has over 14 years of experience in supply chain and has been associated with well-known companies like Synergy Polymers Ltd., Godrej GE Appliance Ltd., Castrol India Ltd. and Pidilite Industries Ltd.

 
Cherian Kenneth Thomas
   CEO, Packaging India Pvt. Ltd.

As Chief Executive Officer, Packaging India Pvt. Ltd., Cherian Thomas has the challenging task of increasing profitability of Essel Propack’s 2006-acquired flexible packaging business. Major investments made into the business mandate careful financial nurturing and aggressive business development. An MBA by education, Cherian is one of the youngest members in the top management. He joined the Company in 2002 as Head of Sales and Marketing for the Indian subcontinent. While adding depth and width to the account management and business development spheres, he enhanced Essel Propack’s market share to an enviable 65%. From early 2005, he has handled the largest of the four global regional markets, AMESA. Prior to joining Essel Propack, Cherian worked with ITW Signode India Limited.

 
Ted Sojourner
   Regional Vice President, Tubes & Laminates Business – Americas

Ted Sojourner is the Vice President of Tubes and Laminates Business, Americas. He has been with Essel Propack since September 2007 and is responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic business plans in the American region. He is also responsible for and ensures that sales targets are met while focusing on customer-centric business growth through product innovation and development, exceptional quality, service performance and strong client relationships. Ted graduated in 1977 from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, VA as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing. He began his career with Procter & Gamble and has worked for companies like Nestle Foods, Schering-Plough and Rubbermaid before joining Essel Propack.

 
Evelyn Stewart Tweedlie
   Regional Vice President – Europe

Evelyn is responsible for driving profitability for the European operations of Essel Propack Ltd. which includes four manufacturing units: Essel Propack Polska (EPP), Essel Propack, UK, Essel Deutschland, and Essel Propack Russia. Her educational background includes a Master of Arts with Honours, from Glasgow University, a Post Graduate Diploma in European Marketing, from Heriott Watt University, Edinburgh and a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. With over 20 years of work experience she has a diverse background in marketing and has held various positions with companies like Courtaulds and Arista. 

 
Luozhiyong, Edward
   Regional Vice President, Tube & Laminate Business – East Asia Pacific

Luo Zhiyong, Edward is responsible for the overall business strategy planning for various product lines in the East Asia Pacific region (EAP) with operations in China, Philippines and Indonesia. He has completed Masters in Business Administration from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). With over 10 years of experience in Sales, Edward is responsible for building a winning market-driven organization and profitable growth of Essel Propack in EAP. He has been with Essel Propack since July 1997 when the company first entered the Chinese market.
